My sweet little turkey
All stuffed with momma's milk
Bundled up beside me -
Face of angels, skin of silk.
We snooze and we eat,
We hike all wrapped together,
On this day of giving thanks -
Couldn't hope for one that's better.
You're the gem in my soul
The star in my nighttime sky
You're the love of my life
And the twinkle in my eye.
Since the day birth joined us here
Life grows sweet, love flows free,
And my thanks is ever greater
That the mom you chose was me.
